Boil Water Advisory Lifted – Water is Safe!
The City of Carbondale Public Works is pleased to announce that the Boil Water Advisory (BWA) issued on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, has been officially rescinded by the Kansas Department of Health & Environment (KDHE).
What does this mean for you?
You may resume life as normal! The State of Kansas has tested and confirmed that our water quality exceeds requirements and is safe to use, consume, and enjoy.
Helpful Tip:
If you notice any discoloration as water moves through the system, we encourage you to flush your pipes by running cold water for a few minutes.
